Cloves have the highest orac score of any spice.

What is an orac score? Orac stands for (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) which means the level of antioxidants contained in a food.

Why does this matter? Antioxidants protect you against free radicals and oxidative damage, helping to prevent disease and minimize the signs of aging.

Chai tea is a great source of cloves and other spices high on the list like cinnamon, black pepper and ginger, also high on the list, oregano, rosemary, thyme and turmeric . Use these daily and don’t just sprinkle them on be generous!
